Hotel Torino, Rome

Upon arrival at 6:00 PM, the room wasn't ready but it turned out to be spacious enough despite not being super clean with a peculiar smell, maybe from the drain. The service was a mix of staff attitudes, from beyond rude eye-rolling to the manager's helpfulness and politeness. The location was ideal, close to the main train station and with easy access to the airport and the center of Rome. The dining experience, although somewhat reminiscent of a 3-star, offered reasonable choices amidst the antics of the veranda birds. Overall, a decent stay with some notable highs and lows.

The hotel had some ups and downs. The rooms were a bit disappointing with poor air conditioning and small size, alongside bad internet connection and limited TV channels. On the bright side, the service was outstanding, especially thanks to Roberto, who was very helpful and accommodating.
